19:30   Over Your Cities Grass Will Grow (2010), 105′

by Sophie Fiennes

Sophie Fiennes, the director of hit essay-films “The Pervert’s Guide to Cinema” and “The Pervert’s Guide to Ideology”, featuring eccentric philosopher Slavoj Žižek, delivers her most ambitious work to date: a mesmerizing documentary on German artist Anselm Kiefer and his monumental installations. Building an owe-inspiring atmosphere, the film takes us on a tour through an old silk factory transformed into a labyrinthine city full of installations, crypts and underground arcades, offering insight on the artist’s almost alchemical creative process.
